This is a one day course that is designed to introduce new and experienced gun owners to the professional techniques of pistol use. Classes are conducted with an average of four to six students and two instructors. This allows for more quality instruction per student.

Private classes are available for both couples and groups. Our classes offer the ideal solution for both individuals and couples wanting to obtain essential firearms skills and safety training. The one day class fits nicely into today’s busy lifestyle.

Training Focus Points

Mental: Pre- and post-psychological effects of a hostile attack.

Tactics: Avoiding and recognizing dangers, thinking ahead, and planning how to confront the situation with a level head. Have an escape plan by using “What If” situations and the use of other weapons tactics.

Firearms and Weapons: We teach and emphasize safety with all firearms and weapons. We also stress the proper use and storage of all firearms and weapons. We address safety surrounding firearms around children, clearing firearms from different techniques and positions, trigger control, aiming, shot placement, different types of ammunition, single and multiple adversaries. Weapons include edge weapons, mace, sticks, rocks, magazines, and anything you can get your hands on. Home Invasion,Vehicle Security, and Car Jacking Defense classes are available.

You Will Learn:

Level 1

• Firearm safety
• Principles of personal defense and use of deadly force
• Combat triad proper mindset pre and post-defense shooting
• How to choose the right handgun, ammunition, and holster
• Pistol marksmanship
• How to determine if your firearm is loaded and how to unload it
• How to safely load, reload, resent, and holster your firearm
• Proper grip, stance, use of sight picture, and alignment, point shooting, and trigger control
• How to handle malfunctions
• Modern technique of the pistol
• Tactical movement including pivots, turns, forward and backing
• How to perform tactical or emergency reloading
• Multiple target engagement. Spouses/team tactics shooting

Student will furnish firearm. We will offer eye and ear protection. NRA-certified instructors. Private classes are available.

Level II
(This is a one day expansion of Level 1 at a high speed advance stress level.) Safe handling

• Strategies and tactics for gun fighting
• High speed shooting drills
• Strong and weak hand shooting and reloading
• Immediate action drills for restaurants, streets, and automobiles
• Position shooting from cover and displacement drills
• Knife fighting techniques
• Low light shooting
• Multiple targets engagement drills
• Room clearing

Prerequisite: Level 1 or equivalent training.

Students will furnish firearms, holsters, three magazines or speed loaders for revolvers. NRA-certified instructors. Private classes are available

INTRO PSD & COUNTER ASSULT TEAM (CAT) is a one and a half day Counter Assault Course to support the Principle and PSD member. Accompany detail and provide counter assault support as needed. The CAT team will ensure that the PSD has the necessary tactical support during all VIP moves in the event of an emergency. The CAT"s primary responsibility is to provide counter assault support in the event that the VIP is attacked. CAT team could be responsible for the VIP's Recovery Operations (PRO)

Prerequisite: Familiar with advanced shooting,and technics
