Precision Defensive Tactical Shooting School

These courses are simple, no-nonsense classes intended to teach the use of the tactical carbine or tactical shotgun. You will learn simple techniques instead of the complicated ones.

We strive to keep it simple, yet effective. In the hands of a competent shooter, the rifle or shotgun is the best formidable weapon available. The tactical carbine or shotgun is a very powerful tool used for self protection. The advantage over the handgun is more power and longer range.

This one day course covers close quarter rifle work and the students are presented with a wide variety of fire drills.

Course Objectives:

• Develop good mind set
• Carry and mounting positions
• Loading and unloading
• Immediate action drills (malfunctions)
• Transition drills (carbine or shotgun-to-handgun)
• Weapon retention
• Structure clearing
• Two man teams (if applicable)
• Multiple targets engagement
• Alternate positions, movement, use of cover

Course Requirements:

• Center fire, iron sight rifle (scopes optional)
• Two magazines minimum (with pouches)
• Sling
• Eye and ear protection
• Ammunition 300 rounds handgun
  1000 rounds rifle
  Shotgun, 200 + rounds 71/2 or 8 shot, 10 + rounds slugs, 10 + rounds buckshot your choice.

Tuition: $250 for each class, $400 for combination.
